Planning with Juniata College

I recently had a productive meeting with Eric Quallen, the new Field Station Director, and Kathryn Blake, the Director of the Juniata College Museum of Art, to iron out the details of my upcoming project, “Echoes in History: Explore Roots Through Collage,” at Juniata College’s Raystown Lake Field Station. We discussed the project budget, display methods, and timeline. Eric’s expertise in resource management and Kathryn’s knowledge of display techniques were invaluable. We set clear milestones to ensure the project stays on track. Excitingly, they introduced me to Lonnie Smith, a local historian. Lonnie’s insights into Huntingdon County’s history and his connections with the Visitors Bureau will be crucial in enriching the collages and promoting the project. With the collaborative spirit and shared vision from our meeting, I am confident that “Echoes in History” will be a meaningful and impactful project. Stay tuned for updates as we bring the history and creativity of Huntingdon County to life at Raystown Lake Field Station.
