I’m excited to announce an upcoming presentation at Juniata College’s Raystown Field Station, Shuster Hall, on March 12th at 6 PM, where I will be sharing the journey of my Grove Farm Residency Project, Echoes of History: Exploring Roots Through Collage. This project has been a deep dive into the layered histories of Huntingdon County, uncovering the stories of its communities through archival materials, quilt block collages, and wearable paper works.
During this talk, I’ll walk through the creative process behind these community-inspired pieces, from gathering historical images and documents to transforming them into layered compositions that reflect the identity and heritage of the region. I’ll also discuss the role of collaboration in this project—how local organizations, museums, and residents contributed to shaping these works and how their histories continue to resonate in the present.
This presentation will be a behind-the-scenes look at the residency, offering insight into the techniques, materials, and themes that guided my work. Whether you’re interested in local history, fiber arts, or community storytelling, I’d love for you to join the conversation. I hope to see you there on March 12th!

This Project is supported by Juniata College and made possible by an artist residency hosted at Juniata’s Raystown Field Station.
